Aces High

This fighter jet, built in 1954, flew with the Royal Canadian Air Force until 1968 and is similar to the Saber jets flown in the Korean conflict in the early 1950s. Set amidst the natural beauty and unspoiled charm of the Saanich Peninsula one of the first stops on my holiday, whilst admiring this plane we were kindly invited into the legion for a drink and to meet some veterans and members.
