Arrival in Bruges

We arrived in Bruges to great evening light. It lasted the whole time we walked to the hotel (which is a slightly different part of the city to where we've or I've stayed before) and then walked to a bar where we enjoyed an excellent pre-prandial beer. We went back to the Ribs restaurant we tried for the first time in October 2019, which is the last time Mr A has been here.

The journey here was smooth. I did some work in the hotel room, and a somewhat unsatisfactory teams meeting, and then we waited in the Eurostar waiting area for our train. The ride was smooth, and despite the advertised train strike in Belgium, there was no difficulty getting a train to Bruges. We travelled in the upper deck, which is always a pleasure.

Throughout, I managed in general stay on top of email and do some bits of work.
