Wetter than a Yucca
Mundy's son, Charles, and his wife, Kate, are visiting from New Mexico. Kate tells me that the Yucca is their national flower.
I didn't know that. All I know is that this Yucca is very wet and this weather is very yuccy.
Tomorrow we're all off to see Mundy's sister in Frinton-on-Sea who has just had a hip repacement op at 88. The little village is notorious for being the last place in England without a pub! It has one now but the place is far too well-behaved for us.
We'll be back in about two weeks. Meanwhile, un millier de baisers to all you kind blippers for the time you spent reading them and your generous comments on my tales. I am not in yesterday's picture, but Yvonne, the second of my six sisters, is in the centre.
Stay dry. Be happy.
à bientôt!
