Eep! (2)

Went up to town to meet old friend Sue off the train from Alnmouth where she's having a week's holiday. We wambled through Princes St Gardens which are gradually greening and filling up with daffs and blossom, to meet up with Tony and Diz, our friends from Crail. They had known each other in the (very) distant past when they all lived in N.E. London, but hadn't met since! We had a splendid lunch and blethers in Continis - D unfortunately had to miss the food part as he had to nip to Boots for a follow up appt with the audiologist, but he managed to join us for coffee. Waved them all off in their various directions before I realised I hadn't taken a photo at all.

Still when I got home I found that the first of the neighbourhood Norway maples had started opening its acid green flower buds. Very excited.
