The school run

Today we took Violet to school and fetched her after she had spent the night with us.  This morning it was cloudy and cool but by this afternoon the skies were clear and it had warmed up at last.  Pictured is a phone shot from the open car window where we park.  The magpie, seen better in the thumbnail, makes a point these last few weeks, of hanging around by the parked cars at coming out time.  He obviously finds something of a worthwhile nature!
