Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens

More sunshine. We mustn’t waste it. 

This lovely garden, just off the M6, is cherished and looked after by a large team of volunteers. Over the winter they have accomplished so much tidying and preparation for the new season. They’ve opened up more of the land outside the walled garden, to develop more play areas, more birdwatching spots, and extended the walking area.

They have delicious cakes too.

Merlin alerted me to a couple of jays, and confirmed that the parakeets are sadly coming further north. No sign of the heron today.

It’s a RHS Partner garden and well worth a visit. My satnav wasn’t helpful, but if you just head for Castle Bromwich, it’s pretty well signed. 

Extra - Suki has spotted something to interrupt today’s sunbathing. I never did find out…..

And my magnolia has really opened out. I wonder how long it can last.
