Steering the truck

It’s been a lovely sunny day. My daughter doesn’t work today so after dropping the oldest at school we visited a different nearby playground. There’s certainly of lots of them in her immediate area. Our grandson was quite happy to explore the area in the playground which has several steep slopes and steps. He then took a look at the other equipment including this fire truck or fire engine. I thought he looked like he knew what he was doing with his one handed steering. After this he chose to come down the steepest slide but has learnt how to slow the descent with his feet when needed.

The older grandson was picked up early from school as a few of them were taking part in a Spring Show with various songs being performed. He was dressed as a bee and very excited. I stayed at home and looked after his younger brother and we enjoyed playing in the garden as it was still sunny.

A busy day but the Spring Show went well although the children were fairly tired by that time of day. The oldest was happily singing his songs in the bath before a late bedtime.
