Gliding by.............

The MV Thursvoe begins her glide across Scapa Flow to Flotta.  She is standing in for the MV Hoy Head which is currently away for refit in Peterhead.  Consequently, capacity for freight / vehicles is much reduced meantime.  I glimpsed her as she appeared from behind Tomasin’s Cottage.  I was on my weekly stravaig up to the Kirk for the café.  As can be seen in extra there is a variety of transport modes to get to the Kirk.  Muckle Hector was in situ  and he spoke about his hate of italics.  Karen was present and there was an outbreak of tactility.  Rosie gave me a load of cheek – which I always enjoy.  It was a relief to see Geordie again.  Alison was present – just over a year ago she lost her husband who she nursed for a long time.  Bless her.  Her conversation was very inciteful.  I came home and behaved impeccably, as I await the return of the Current Mrs Creel
