Holly Blue Butterfly Visit …

… while gardening this afternoon. I don’t think I’ve posted one before, they are so flighty. This one, my first butterfly of the spring, was sampling many flowers including the daisy in extra. The wings are very different depending on the light coming through them or on them, these two photos are the the same butterfly. (I always have the long lens out in the garden in case the local Red Kites fly past). This was a serious change in scale! 

Thanks to everyone who has left lovely comments and other presents on my journal the last few days, I haven’t been able to keep up and tonight is a yoga night till 20:30 … must fly!
