Family Fun

For those of you who remember a December blip of me taking family Christmas photos at the school for charity...this girl's family won the draw for a family photo session with me this Spring.  I was secretly thrilled that her name was drawn as she is such a sweetheart and her family have never had photos taken before.  Our school is in a very affluent neighbourhood but not all the students are.  Her family is not so it means even more to them (and me!).  Roughly twice a week, when Amelia sees me around the school, she says, "I am so excited, Miss Mac!"

Today has been a rough day for my students. I wonder why...  We do have a severe ice storm on its way for tomorrow, which is supposed to last a couple of days.  Gulp!
