Return of the Bees

Little Man did exceptionally well last night. I took him to my life group meeting, as i really wanted to go and I didn't have a babysitter for him. He was already in his pyjamas when we left and had a lot of fun playing quietly at Sanne's. It was a ladies only meeting so there were just six of us.

Because we got home so late (just after 10 o'clock), Little Man went straight to bed. He had nursery this morning, and I did warn the teachers that he was tired and if they thought he needed to be sent home early, to let me know.

I went to the supermarket, then came home to find that the WiFi was down and that there was partial electricity loss for a lot of people down the street. The lights were working, but none of the plugs in the living room or kitchen were working. So I had to stand in the street to let everyone know (my family and the school). Thankfully it came back on after only an hour or so.

Little Man was sent home early, but refused to sleep. He's been swinging between having high levels of energy and being grumpy. It's been a long day.

We had a lovely girl, Anna, pop in to meet us. She's going to be babysitting Little Man on Wednesday evenings and I thought it was good for all of us to meet each other.

We've had dinner and Little Man will be going to bed soon.

I took this photo when I stepped outside to check on Little Man whilst he was playing in the garden. The bees were so happy with the cherry blossoms and were buzzing loudly. So I had to snap a picture.
