Touch down

This morning I made a casserole for lunch then we went into the village to the bakers and post office then called at the charity cafe for coffee and cheese scone.
When we got home I took down the bird feeder by the hedge and fitted a new metpost base as the bottom had rotted off. It looked a bit tatty  so I found some of the original paint and gave it a coat.
This afternoon I went to RSPB Fowlmere and had a wander around. There was a volunteer working party around the big lake so not many birds. They left soon after I arrived in the hide and the birds started coming back when I got this picture. A bit later the Marsh harrier started to fly around I got quite a few pictures but very distant, the best one in extra 
Mostly sunny  a bit cooler than yesterday but very nice
