Continuing the *BBB Blip Series...

*Banal Beyond Belief

So what excitement has today delivered?

Well this morning the garden was a hive of activity with three tradesmen here finishing off the new decking to the front of the Gin Palace. It's all taking shape. Just to get it painted and furnished now. Next summer it will see a lot of action! ;-))

Two other tradesmen here fitting the iron railing to the ramp from Alan's bedroom into the garden. It looks fab but will look even better when it's painted gloss black.

Eddie's been round and him and Alan have been out and about for a few hours this afternoon. They even managed to dodge the showers. David's working from home, which as been brilliant as I finished my strong painkillers yesterday so my knee is bloody agony today. Just phoned the health centre to try and get them put on repeat prescription as nothing's going to improve with this knee in the near future. Fingers crossed the Doc says yes!

Meanwhile I'm lounging on the sofa like some insipid Victorian lady, demanding cups of tea and custard creams. Oh and enjoying a spot of internet shopping. This enforced leisure is costing a fortune. ;-)

But never mind all that, it's Friday peeps. Time to let our hair down (those that have some, those that don't, improvise) and chill a while. Happy Weekend lovelies :) xxx
