Lucas was fascinated with looking out the bus window today. I am so grateful for moments like this, especially during a Crohn’s flare up. It used to be the pain that got me down but now it’s the fatigue, it drains what little energy I have left to give. Going to curl up in my bed with a good book tonight. It’s always been my version of self care. Tomorrow is a new day.
