African Violet

I blipped the plant about two weeks ago, it was a prezzie form my dear friend. Today I just simply couldn't resist taking a shot of it with the sun shining 'through' it! It is such an interesting little plant.

The one half of MissU2, M, used to love it since schooldays. He had a nice little greenhouse in our backyard in South Africa where he nursed hundreds of different colours, made new ones by planting leaf cuttings and managed to 'create' the most interesting colours and shapes.

I am busy trying to get one leaf cutting from this plant to grow! I will be só proud if it works!..... M, please take note!! Your Mum's trying to follow in your footsteps!! ;-)
