A birthday treat

Anne bought me a Cheese and Honey pairing afternoon tea at Selfridges for my birthday last year and today was the day we had it. The restaurant is called The Hive with lots of bees, honeycombs etc.  The pairing is not something you would think about putting together but it really worked. We had 4 different cheeses all with their own honey. After that there was a jam and cream scone and 4 petit fours. Needless to say I haven’t needed any dinner this evening.
My extra is one of the Eggs that you can find around London at the moment. My nephew and his family are coming down at Easter so you’ll see more of these then.
