A shift rather than a tilt

Shift is a lot more straightforward than tilt. Basically, an upwards shift just has the effect of making you about 12ft tall. You can't really tell from this image, but I could not have got this shot using a regular lens, as the ground falls away quite steeply in front of these trees, so I was looking up at them. It was impossible to get a good composition from that perspective.
