Flowers Of The Airfield

I went to The Squadron at North Weald today to collect MrQ's funeral flowers, the montage of photographs I made and his bagpipes. A guy from Aero Legends introduced himself and said how much he and his jet training students had enjoyed the band yesterday. They have some flying days planned in the near future. I'll have to go.

A lovely Lancia Fulvia was parked outside. I told the owner that I remember reading that it is the perfect dog car. Mish would fit perfectly on that snug rear seat.(Extras)

I gave MrQ's floral tributes a good drink and arranged them on a bench by the back door. (Extras) It has given me a lot of pleasure looking at them and breathing their perfume. I made one for MrQ myself in a boater that he sometimes used to wear on gigs. I included flowers, asparagus and cucumbers that we used to grow. I also added sea holly and sea lavender to reference our family's love of sailing.

PS I saw my first beefly of 2025 today.
