Crummock Water

C was off as well today so she came round to mine and we headed off to Crummock Water. It was a complete contrast to yesterday…very windy and it got progressively wetter but we got to the isthmus and bravely took the plunge anyway and then pressed on to Buttermere for chips. We returned the same way and cut it a bit fine but made it back in time to see Dr Strangelove at the cinema.
