Beginnings

That severe storm forecast for yesterday missed my neighborhood, but Lex and Doug got caught in it while driving home from visiting a friend.  Lightning, thunder and a torrential downpour.  I'm so glad it missed me.

I didn't feel quite so awful after dialysis today, which may be because I had protein for a snack instead of just carbs.  I was able to do my grocery pick-up and got some chicken tenders that I'll roast to take with me next time I go.

Looking out at the little garden, I saw that blossoms are starting to come out on the trees and bushes.  I'll be posting a lot of photos of it as the Spring moves on and into Summer.
