Clouds Galore!
It has been a day of jobs today with one of those long lists which is now almost all ticked off. I had a flying visit in to Leeds to get train tickets for the London City Race in September and to stock up on books: the new Peter Robinson, a Susan Hill, the second in the 'Bruno Chief of Police' series, a New York Times Bestseller and one a foreign lady standing across the display from me recommended!
Then it was to the computer and the jobs list. All that is left is for Tony to do his passport application; the first aid kits to be refurbished; the tour report for CompassSport to be written and a red cross parcel assembled for Tom who goes off to Uni this time.
We've had a long catch up with Becks on Skype as well this afternoon. She's looking forward to their Yellowstone trip in September and it will be good to see her for an early Christmas (will this be the earliest mention of the word?) again at the end of November!
Glad to report that the antibiotics appear to be kicking in and I am quietly confident that this awful coughing etc is soon going to be a thing of the past. Thankyou for all the concern and good wishes coming my way over the last three weeks or so.
I took a minute out to blip the sky from Becky's backroom window around lunchtime.
