Fiordland Crested Penguin

This lovely fellow came in with a nasty foot injury. We have battled treating it with it ending up with a nasty bone infection. The best alternative was to amputate the infected toe. It is very happy and its foot is looking good, and healing well. It has been a long journey. It will be on its way soon
