Flower friday

I think this is my supposed 11 year blip. I just had my 4000th which is more accurate as I started blipping longer ago than that due to some missed days. I have chosen a flower as my journal is full of flowers, mostly from my own garden. I have flowers all year. 

I grew this from a leaf cutting and posted it last week. It has grown larger with a frilly edge which is lovely.

This morning I met Sandra for morning tea. She is 10 years older than me but looks much fitter. She is preparing for a trip to UK, mainly Scotland and Orkneys. She has connections with a well known English artist, David Hockney, who I looked up. He has sold a painting for $80 m US dollars. Blimey. He has a new exhibition opening in Paris. I’m looking forward to hearing all about her trip when she returns. 

This afternoon I visited my neighbour, Lee. Now cooking dinner.
