Two out of three ain't bad

Sometimes we make the shot and sometimes we miss.

Shot 1 - the medical appointment 
This was a miss, resulting in a follow up appointment next week (I'll spare you the details!), and consequently next week's overseas trip has been cancelled.

Shot 2 - parents' evening 
This was a strong three pointer with my boy performing incredibly well in all subjects. Very proud of him and all the hard work he has put in.

Shot 3 - the important phone call 
This was a slam dunk! I can say more next week once all the relevant people have been informed. It is, however, very good news and I am excited for the future.

As you can see from this morning's photo the sky is very grey today, but as I often say, don't let the forecast determine your outlook.
