Blossom Grove

Needed to go into Ilkley to make an appointment, you can tell it’s early because the queue hasn’t formed at Betty’s yet. But on my return along tothe Grove there were about a dozen patiently waiting.
I do like Betty’s but the town has plenty of independent cafes that can match them for quality.
Blossom trees are at their peak.

Later l went to see Maria at Ilkley Cinema, glad l’ve seen it but wouldn’t highly recommend it. Having said that the clothes and fashions were wonderful, Paris looked amazing and the music was sublime.

Realised when watching the film l had lost one of my favourite earrings, retraced my steps and enquired if it had been handed in anywhere but no luck.
They weren’t expensive but l wear them more than any others l own.  I bought them at a craft stall in Hebden Bridge a few years ago and though l’ve looked for the maker many times since l’ve never managed to located her.
