Royal Mile

Today my U3A camera group met for coffee then a wander along the Royal Mile looking for photos. I must admit to being really quite saddened by the state of the Mile. The first time I wandered down the lower end (around 2016 )looking for images, all the interesting little closes with their historical names were bright and clean and looked interesting. So many of them now are filled with massive recycling bins and sadly rubbish and the flats and houses seem to all be student or AB&B accommodation with loads of key store boxes or keypads up and down the side of the doors. It was quite a challenge to find images which hadn't been taken dozens of times before. This was one I quite liked :)
