Serendipity!

Because of a road diversion, we ended up taking our dogs for a walk in the grounds of Delgatie Castle.
Since we were there, we went for coffee and cake in the old kitchen of the castle. I had a piece of coffee and walnut cake which was very tasty, except for the walnut which I put to the side. ( I am so fussy!)
The main is the castle, the extras are photos of the canons guarding the castle, a dovecote and a remembrance area for animals that served in war.
Lovely blue skies but quite a cold wind.
