Swanage - choo-choo train

Collected my friends from the hotel at 10:20. Took the breezer bus to Swanage. Before we left Bournemouth, it was packed out with loads of people standing.

Beautiful sunny day but chilly in the wind. Stopped off at the market for radicchio, frisée lettuce and artichokes. My friend loaded up with veg to take back to London.

Had my favourite vegan chocolate ice cream with chocolate sauce at Chococo. Short walk along the front then back to the bus before it got packed again. My friends went into the station station to view the steam engines - lots of some event on, while I waited at the bus stop to save a place at the front of the queue.

Sat outside onthe upper deck, well wrapped up. While, my friends sat in the enclosed section.

Once back took them for a spin in the 500. They found the tiny backseat relatively comfortable which surprised me. Drove to the Riverside Inn for an Aspall Now feet up before they come at 7:15. I have booked dinner at the Britannia in Parkstone.

Mr. B is still not well enough to come with So. he's stuck at home watching tennis. – doubt he'll be well enough to see them tomorrow before they leave (earlier than planned as they booked the hotel for three days - in the hope they'd be able to come and stay with us till Monday).
