Let’s go Playa

This is a diary shot of a birthday present I had today as we are visiting my godson and his family in Preston. 9 years ago the five of us were on holiday in Spain. My godson’s son, Sam, was five and he and I spent a lot of time playing. On the day in question the weather was a little overcast and nobody wanted to come on the beach with Sam and me. It was such a lovely day and I was inspired to write a poem about it. The photo popped up on Facebook recently and Sam’s mom created this framed copy for me. Made me so happy Zi nearly cried,
