Local Politics

Our local MP came along to a meeting with local residents on our street this afternoon (as well as a councillor and an official from the council). Quite a turnout, considering it was during working hours, and we told him about concerns regarding traffic, anti-social behaviour, taxis and ubers and late opening of pubs. The street does seem to be Portobello for many people so it would be good to spread things out a bit more to lessen the pressure on one small area. We'll see if anything comes of it.
