No Longer In The Garden
They are in the living-room .... and there is now no colour in the garden!
I thought I should photograph them before they wilted.
So I did ... and I used a couple of 'old-school', manual lenses as well as the more up to date auto macro.
The results are Over Here.
I was making a square plate on the lathe after breakfast when my Lebanese neighbour popped over to see if I could come up with a way to repair a wooden lamp carved by his father and damaged by his daughter (who tripped over the power cord).
It is repairable and I will get it to fix (hopefully) when he comes back from a work trip to Japan.
Of course there was the trip to the x-ray department.
There were two very cheerful and efficient ladies there. One was the receptionist who had already linked the two referrals from the health centre and the other was the radiographer.
I was in the department less time than I was stood waiting in Asda for somebody to bring out the food donation for The Larder!!!
SWMBO insisted we bought some fuel at a local garage (her anxiety these days wont allow the tank to get below a quarter tank). While we were at the garage she also bought a pack of sliced ham to go in omelettes. That was not a good idea. When she saw the price of the fuel and the meat I thought she was going to have another stroke.
Maybe she will listen to me now - but I doubt it....
When I went to make the omelettes there was a lovely cloud making an exit stage left .... see the extra.
