swan song

Of a beautiful yellow tulip, petals opened wide as the sun shone through the window. A nice day weatherwise but a bit nippy. More seeds coming up in the greenhouse - cosmos and salad leaves. Sorted out a big plastic tub of all sorts of jars and bottles that had been kept. Had to throw away the jars without proper lids as they’re no good for jam. Found a couple of lovely chunky bottles - going to put some lights in them tomorrow.
