The group split up today 4 went to Cintra while 5 travelled around Lisbon . We visited the tile museum which is located in an old convent. I’ve posted a picture of two of the tiles but the main is of a nativity scene displayed in what was once the convents chapel. What really caught my eye was the detailed expression on each face , The figures were exquisitely made.
We also visited both the castle and cathedral as well as hopped on and off buses and in and out of metro stations. I’m starting to get the hang of how to move around this city , it’s all a bit too big and boisterous for my liking . I was apprehensive about eating out with all my food issues but each time we have been in a restaurant or cafe the staff have been very helpful and accommodating.
