Power-full Day

A strong sustained wind kept these wind turbines humming along, their gentle swooshing in the distance is very peaceful. These massive 540ft (160m) tall turbines are around 2.5 MW each, producing enough power in one day to power ~4 homes for a year! 

On a walk around the farm I was looking for something to capture the feeling of being here and this landscape shot seemed to do the trick! The silo in the distance, rolling hills of corn, and of course the wind turbines give me the exact feeling of being here.
