Pudding!

Been a busy old day in the Cakes household but in a good way.
The wellies and the waterproof jacket proved to be unnecessary on our walk and we had a very pleasant stroll.
The boys have a pal round so I have spent quite a large portion of the day feeding them. The big batch of shortbread is disappearing fast and the apple pie seems to have gone down rather well for pudding. Still; it's nice that they have healthy appetites!
I did manage to fit in some carpet shampooing and raspberry picking and more excitingly got to meet up with an old friend for a good blether. We have known each other since the first day of High School and usually get to meet up once or twice a year; we always have plenty to talk about!
Mr Cakes has arrived home now after a busy day on site so it's going to be dinner and then a wee glass ( or maybe even two) of wine. Hope everyone has a good weekend.
