It’s been a day of many parts. First stop was Les Mangettes small lake where I took this photo as I walked round. Next stop was the Grand St Bernard tunnel (lake photo) where winter still has a hold but we enjoyed our picnic with great views.

The incredible Forte di Bard was next to see the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition (what amazing photos). However, the fort itself is also fabulous.

Our final destination was Saluzzo where we checked in to our airbnb, met our friends (annual meet up in a different Italian town each year) then out for dinner ( what a choice of pasta!).
