Glorious rose . . .

…………………… in a Remarkables Market garden this morning. I think it’s an English rose. Is it pink or is it blue?
It’s a stunning colour.

A girlfriend & I had a lovely wander around the market and then sat and dog watched and people watched. Fascinating, all of it! I came home with avocados, nectarines, and strawberries, plus more seedlings for my vegetable garden, plus a bright orange pumpkin.

It was unbelievably hot again this afternoon and although I’ve been trying to prune the hebes along the west side of my house, I gave up after maybe half an hour. Too hot altogether for me. We’re getting mountain weather now - really chilly in the mornings and hot later on.
