Eel Pie Island

We spent the day with James, Lauryn and Kaitlyn, Danny was also with us, we went to Richmond, had tea and cake at the Tide Tables and then went on a 45 minute boat ride to Teddington and back, then Max joined us and we walked through Marble Hill Park, went to the playground, had ice-creams and visited the Sculpture Garden and the Cascade, pool and Oceanides statues at York House. The tide was very high!!
Then we went to Eel Pie Island to meet Michelle who lives on a boat and has written a book about the Island that James wanted to buy for his Dad, Michelle signed it for him, the kids went on the roof of the boat and didn't want to come down!
I had to get back as I had an interview with Kriss Herbert of Gaydio which will be aired tommorrow about 6.45.
