It's Flower Friday!

It's Flower Friday and it's once again tulip time here.  This is a couple from two bunches that I bought in the supermarket yesterday.  I had thought that two bunches would be needed for my new clam shell shaped vase but I was wrong, so there is a bunch in said vase and a bunch in the fireplace, which will hopefully be no longer needed for fires until Winter.

I had lunch and a catch up with my friend C today and admitted to her that I had forgotten that she Whatsapped me asking for a change of day.  I went to the restaurant on out usual day, yesterday....and then read the message when she hadn't arrived.  I made the best of it with a supermarket visit to buy things that I didn't know I needed, these tulips amongst them!
