Blackthorn Hedge

So many flowers to choose from to blip at the moment…individual ones as I have used a few times in the last week..or masses of blossom as seen in these blackthorn hedge trees. A spectacular sight en masse and so lovely up  close (see extra).

The flowers were alive with bees and flies - an impressive sight and sound..but they were not too cooperative in front of the camera.

Sadly, I came across a dead badger at the side of the road which looked as though it had been a recent accident - there was still fresh blood on the road. It was clearly a nursing mother - so somewhere nearby will be a littler of cubs with no more milk supply. Rather upsetting..
