Just to show willing . . .

The partial eclipse of the sun, or as they like to call it these days – partial solar eclipse.
 
Finally managed a reasonable exposure with the ND1000 filter and the camera on manual with the 24-105 lens at max, but it is still so small this is cropped to the n squared degree.  I decided to pop the telephoto on, but it was then I realised that I don’t have an ND 1000 filter for the bigger lens – now on my ‘wish list’.
 
Silly things for a Saturday, but then . . .
