Saturday

The picture on the left was taken during this morning's solar eclipse. The one of the right shortly after. Typical!

Tessa and I walked home just before midnight after our evening at Natalie's. I was surprised to learn that they only met last June. It was the weekend after F's accident. Now we are a trio with several dates in our diaries.

Clive and Simon were about 10 minutes ahead of us during their walk home. Of course, they came along the canal but we felt it too dark and not very sensible.

So, I had a lazy morning. I tried to capture the eclipse but failed.

Clive took Hetty to the Gallops and I gardened. It's now 3.50pm and I've come in. I've had enough but got a lot done.

Louise is singing in a concert today and all her children are visiting because it's Mother's Day this weekend. Therefore, no Louise today and I don't think we'll see eachother next weekend either.

I've a parcel to pick up in town and am wondering whether I have the get up and go for another walk. I always prefer not to drive.

Pleasant weather. Perfect for gardening.
