It could be an exciting week.

It was a quiet start the day, we had an audit to go through. I sat on in the opening meeting to support my young padawan and her team. Because the audit is very data driven, it meant the auditor then had to go off and digest it all in isolation. So, I caught up with my young padawan and had a good laugh and a joke with her before heading to Manchester.

The train was a slow one, stopping at loads of stations, so it took 4 hours.

It was a lovely day and I had a wander around Manchester because I had forgotten something. 

Went to a Chinese restaurant for tea. It was ok, nothing exciting.

Saw some of the accelerator cohort in the hotel after and we had some good chats.

My young padawan was arriving in Manchester at 10:30pm, so I didn't want her to walk to the hotel from the station on her own at that time of night. I think she appreciated that I would do that for her.

Tomorrow we start our ESG Accelerator programme for 2025. Exciting.
