Seaton Delaval Hall
Left our cottage at Twizel Station this morning to make our way home. Stopped en route at Seaton Delavel Hall for a quick look around and a bit of lunch.
The collage shows the Hall, the upside-down room, and the Helios installation, a representation of the sun scaled so that each centimetre represents 2000 kilometres of the real sun’s surface. It includes rippling lights, solar imagery, and sounds of the sun recorded by NASA. It seemed quite appropriate after watching the partial eclipse.
