The Millennium Bridge
An aerial view of the The Millennium Bridge (10th June 2000) also known as the ‘wobbly bridge’ because on the day it opened people experienced a swaying motion which resulted in the bridge’s closure on the very same day. Following repairs, it was re-opened in February 2002. The bridge connects the Tate Modern on the south side with St. Paul’s Cathedral on the north side. It's a pedestrian bridge only.
Fun fact: the bridge has appeared in several films including "28 Days Later" and "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."
