Eclipse?
Do I have eclipse glasses? No. Do I have a pinhole camera? No. No matter, the Times Radio said. All you need is a colander (yes) and a sheet of paper (yes) and the eclipse will show up on the paper. I accept that I took this blip sometime after the eclipse had passed but I promise that I peered several times between 1007 and 1207 and absolutely nothing showed up. It did get a little darker but I have to confess that I did not see any eclipse evidence. Which was disappointing. (and I see from browsing Blipfoto that many others saw it loud and clear (as it were)). Never mind, I did do my Pilates class and returned a parcel to Waitrose. With Gilbert's help I reported the plant that was too heavy for me to do by myself. And radically pruned 2 Monstera Delicosa. We did change the soil in all 3 and added some fertiliser. The result is that my lounge looks a lot less overpowered by greenery. I have had the Monstera for over 40 years and every few years I have to give it a radical prune. So far, so good. After that I went down to Penny to pick up Layla as they were going out for a family lunch. Layla and I had another walk this afternoon (16,807 steps) and I did various chores in the village. Another day done.
