Building while Sitting

I have two swans nests to watch this year-Craiglockhart Pond, and this one on the Fountainbridge section of the canal.  Both are just a short cycle ride away.  I think this is the first breeding season for this pair, and they were very busy today, building up the nest.
I have had a very necessary quiet day in which I planted a new rose, cooked, finished a book, shopped at Tollcross and other things.
Its been very windy today and it was hard work getting back on my bike.
