Local support

After my usual Saturday morning swim I accompanied Charles for brunch at the Veterans' Garden. This is a local charity that supports local veterans and their families. Charles is the current president of the Dumfries British Legion branch and does a lot to support the work done here. In the afternoon we headed off to Carlisle to see my mother-in-law.
