Tied up

Found this in a bottom draw today a very favourite tie in a absolutely fav fabric.
Not worn a tie other than formal black bow or black funeral ones for a long time.
It's a design by Collier Campbell
The design partnership of sisters Susan Collier and Sarah Campbell started in the 1960’s producing work for Liberty, Heals, Habitat and many others.
They founded their company together in 1979/80. Their painterly designs like works of art will never date, many can be found in the V&A archives.
This design for a furnishing fabric for Liberty & Co, London, was inspired by 'Slit Tapestry Red-Green' by Gunta Stölzl, working at the Bauhaus in the 1920s and 1930s.
I also have curtains and cushions using the design.
Dull wet day the eclipse was obscured by cloud so only a heavier darkness.
