Turtles Tea Party
A beautiful warm, blue sky day that got up to 77°F. In March! A bunch of turtles were out in force to enjoy the sunshine. Aside from this group of six, I saw dozens more further up the inlet, on goose island and several others dotted around.
Also, spent a while watching a belted kingfisher on the lookout for a meal. On the way back two deer, not more than 10 feet away, didn't seem a bit scared.
Extra: Alarm Bells. Something startled the kingfisher and, momentarily, his top knot stood on end.
